Support Team Joe in the StarKid 5K and Family Fun Run!
Our team is participating in the StarKid 5K and Family Fun Run to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova Children's Hospital. The namesake of the charity, Joe Petrella, was born 12 weeks early and weighed only 1.5 pounds. He fought for his life the moment he entered this world. Luckily for Joe he was in the best possible place - the NICU at Inova Children’s Hospital. During his 104 day stay in the NICU, from October 2006 to February 2007, he was blessed with outstanding care from all the doctors, nurses, and specialists who help save the lives of high-risk babies like Joe each and every day. Joe is now a happy and healthy 13 year old and will be running in this year’s StarKid 5K. Please help us support Inova Children’s Hospital and the NICU by donating to Team Joe.
