OdessaForever.org is proud to partner with HIAS and The HIAS Housing Guarantee Fund (HGF), a dedicated fund for housing for refugee clients resettled throughout the HIAS network. The HGF serves allows HIAS affiliate partner agencies to co-sign leases for refugee clients, opening up access to safer and more affordable homes for clients.
The backstop is drawn upon by affiliate partners in the rare instances in which a client breaks the lease or owes payment to the landlord. $10,000 guarantees a refugee family’s housing costs for one year.
