The Generation to End Cancer®
The Generation to End Cancer®
Thank you for supporting the Delta Delta Chapter's 2018 Derby Days Campaign to raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. This year, the event carries special meaning for our undergraduate chapter. After a successful fight against cancer in high school, Brother Ben Harmon (ΔΔ'21), a member of our freshman pledge class, was recently rediagnosed with bone cancer. Ben is an incrediblely brave kid and loved by all in the house, and to show our support for him, we recently held an event to shave brothers heads and raise money for his family. Below is a link to some more pictures from the event. With this hitting so close to home this year, we are especially motivated to raise money and support the fight to become the generation to end cancer.
We ask that you keep Ben, his family, and everyone else being affected by cancer in your thoughts and prayers, and if you are able to offer any financial support for our Derby Days campaign we would be very grateful for that as well!

About Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is a leader in the study of cancer genetics and its researchers have discovered more inherited cancer genes than any other cancer center in the world. Genes responsible for breast and ovarian cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and melanoma were identified here.
All cancer treatments used today began with research. Learn more about research taking place at HCI by visiting huntsmancancer.org.
